Perspective

I began my studies in architecture before moving into graphic design. Although the disciplines changed, the underlying way of thinking did not. Architecture taught me that every decision exists in relation to another. Information design taught me to organise complexity. Graphic design became the medium through which those ideas could be expressed. Today my work spans hospitality, publishing, information systems, cultural organisations and film, but the underlying approach remains remarkably consistent. I begin by understanding the structures, relationships and constraints that make each project distinct. Form is never the starting point. It is the consequence of understanding. Alongside my consulting work, I maintain an independent calligraphy practice exploring language, writing and visual form. Rather than client work, it is a space for investigation—one that continually informs the way I observe, think and make.
